Performance

This pickup is only available in a 4WD double cab short bed configuration. It is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 278 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque and is paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. You can expect to go from 0-60 mph in about 8.2 seconds and tow up to 6,800 pounds. Thanks to a factory-fitted cat-back exhaust system, the pickup sounds especially tough once it gets going. Drivers can also take advantage of a new Fox suspension system to get more wheel travel and improved approach and departure angles.

Features

The 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro takes off-road capabilities to the next level. It comes equipped with a bespoke fog light system that basically eliminates the need for aftermarket lights by illuminating more of the area in front of you. The underside is protected thanks to a ¼-inch aluminum skid plate with a trap door to facilitate oil changes. Some of the visual enhancements on the pickup include blacked out headlights, a black hood scoop accent, and special TRD pro badging.
