I have mixed feelings regarding Toyota of Naperville. I had issues with my leased vehicle and dealing with the service department. My vehicle was constantly dying and costing me money to jump every few weeks. When I brought it into service, they continued to tell me that I need to "drive more" and pressured me into picking it up. I knew there was something draining the battery so I refused to pick it up. After a few weeks of not identifying the issue, I told them to buy the car back and of course they tried to get me into another deal. Once I stood my ground, they agreed to buy back the vehicle. I have had issues with the service department before - a rude check-in woman and a service man who had no clue what he was talking about. Now enters Allan, the V.I.P Product Specialist who was amazing to deal with! He got all the papers ready for me and let me empty my car. He called me to inform me of the process and assured me that they were following COVID protocols. Allan was amazing. After dealing with the terrible service experience, it was nice to have someone help me out and be attentive and kind. I recommend the dealership based on the sales department, but I wouldn't recommend the service department. Too many issues, too many times and I believe they are no longer one-offs.

Our recent experience with the purchase of a new Rav4 Hybrid was also very satisfying. Everyone worked as a cohesive team to deliver the best experience we could hope for. I recently went car shopping for a Tacoma, and I started the hunt by visiting Toyota of Naperville first, then checked out *more than a few* other dealerships. I had to come back to Naperville, because it seemed as if every dealership around was out to rip me off. My money was actually refused because I didn't want to pay for bull**** charges. Dan Bourg (my salesman) was honest from the start, and I didn't realize it until I made the dealership rounds. Everything was nice and easy, and now there's a brand new Tacoma on my driveway. WE have been loyal service users of your facility since our move from Palos Heights to Aurora in 1998. Harvey is a super sales rep and interesting personality. Overall, Naperville dealership is top notch from sales to finance to service. Harvey does a great job of explaining differences in models and accessories. Perceives what you need and gets a deal done in a timely manner- no excess time messing around including trade-in values!!
I began pursuing a vehicle purchase the day after Christmas 2020. My research led me to a 2021 Sienna Platinum AWD. I worked with Harvey Nyien who pointed me to the exact model and color combination that they had in stock. Harvey let me drive the vehicle home to have the wife and kids check it out. I returned the vehicle and Harvey and I discussed specific features between the Limited and Platinum. I left the dealership with the understanding that Harvey and I would regroup in 2-3 months. After that initial dealer visit, I learned that the Platinum has too few features to justify the $3k price increase over the Limited. A week after my visit, Lisa Zwier contacted me; I informed her of my shift in plan and to have Harvey contact me if a Limited FWD shows up in the exact color and configuration in their inventory. If the numbers work between trade-in and the new vehicle, then I would pull forward my purchase. Now in mid-January momentum picks up. Harvey provided his manager’s first proposal; a small discount below MSRP. I checked three other stores in the area to test the market. Within a day I found two other stores with listings from iseecars.com that beat Toyota of Naperville’s proposal. I notified Lisa and Harvey of that point, and Harvey’s manager quickly matched the lowest competitor’s price that I shared. I accepted their proposal and proceeded to have my trade-in appraised. Two days after agreeing on the new vehicle price, I had Toyota of Naperville, Valley Honda, CarMax, Carvana, and Vroom appraise my trade-in. Toyota of Naperville’s was the lowest cash offer. But factoring in the tax savings from trading-in, their offer was above the cash offers at CarMax and Valley Honda; and $200-$400 below Carvana and Vroom. I realized that the $300-$500 difference was not worth the inefficiency of dealing with a separate transaction with yet another company. The final week of January 2021, Toyota of Naperville provided me with the most efficient transaction in 22 years of purchasing vehicles. Harvey was efficient in handling the transaction between the new vehicle and trade-in, preparing the paperwork for my visit to the Finance office, transferring plates, and setting up the Toyota connected services on my phone in less than 30 minutes. I was then transferred to Mukesh in the Finance office. He politely asked me to hear him out; he made his spiel on the add-ons and I politely declined them. He understood completely and wrapped up the transaction within five minutes. He provided my tax forms, mileage disclosures, and registration and sent me on my way to the delivery center. I rejoin Harvey in the delivery center and he walks me through the key features of the Sienna Limited FWD. He sends me on my way after 10 minutes. TL; DR: Harvey’s no-pressure approach is highly appreciated; easily the best salesperson I have worked with in over 20 years. Lisa Zwier’s follow-ups were valued, showing interest to make a transaction work without being pushy. Ryan’s approach for arranging the transaction on both new and trade-in without forcing compromises is a template for Sales Managers tact. Mukesh’s professionalism is a nice departure from other vehicle closers I worked with on prior vehicles. I wasn’t chiseled or felt violated after completing the finance portion of the transaction. If you are in the Chicagoland area and are focused on a Toyota, just go to Naperville.

I went in to return my car since my lease was coming to an end. Both Tim Clancy and Jacub Gawlik were extremely helpful and walked me through the process making it absolutely seamless and quick!

While overall I'd give a 5 star rating to the staff of Toyota of Naperville, especially to Robin Clark, service manager (who would get a 10 star rating from me if one were available to give... she is wonderful), Erick Heinz, sales manager, and Tom Clancy, salesman... the same cannot be said for Mukesh Mehta, finance manager. He after promising to provide my wife and me with a thumb drive containing all of the documents we signed in front of him at closing, reneged on this, and with the papers he did provide failed to include the documents of ownership which would be required for us to produce in the event of an accident (Tom Clancy called to inform us of this failure, and to advise he was mailing them to us). We were shown carfax maintenance records, by him but NOT provided with copies of them. I'd received paper copies of four documents with our signatures, however had signed or initialed many more. He just seemed to want to get us out of the office as soon as possible.

This was the fourth vehicle we purchased from Naperville Toyota. I was confident that I could get the exact red 2020 Prius Limited that I was looking for. I went to talk to Harvey Nyien, from whom we had purchased two Toyota Hybrid vehicles in 2016 and 2017. I found out it was Harvey’s day off, so I talked initially to Nadeem Mirza. Nadeem was able to find me the car I wanted with added features that I specified. We came to an agreement on price and delivery that pleased me. The car was brought in from a distant dealer for delivery within three days. Parts were ordered and received quickly to allow me to install a spare tire in the new Prius. Harvey Nyien worked with me to get the parts installed and he explained several new features to me at the time of delivery. I trust Harvey and Nadeem and the staff at Toyota of Naperville and will shop there again.

Harvey Nyien was very informative and helped my wife and me greatly in obtaining the Rav 4 hybrid we were looking for. It will not only save so much money on gas but will also help save the planet. he went through the options and gave us loads of attention and explained everything very well to us. this is the second rave 4 I have purchased from Toyota of Naperville and Harvey was just super and so too were the rest of the gang who work there. They put on the three m coating and the inside coating for us and the ceramic undercoating. I was very well pleased. the tinting on the windows is dark enough but is still legal in our state so I was glad that they kept it all within the law. Harvey and the others said if I have questions I should call or stop by and they would explain or try to explain whatever my questions on the new vehicle might be as this is the first hybrid car I have ever owned. I had a very good experience at Toyota of Naperville. Everyone from the Sales Rep to the Managers were kind and courteous. We did not feel pressured into purchasing a car on the spot, but were given time to make sure we were getting the right car at the right price.

Mike helped me first over the phone with checking on a used car for me. He promptly went outside and looked over a couple cars for me and called me back. So glad I made it in to see the car he informed about that was in really good condition as he was correct, it was. Mike was super busy as it was a Saturday but always made sure to check on me and give me updates. He was so nice and not pushy at all. Very pleasant car buying experience and nice dealer. It was worth the drive from Arlington Heights.

We definitely appreciated the sales approach Adam used. Sensing that we were early in our search, Adam surfaced our needs and had us narrowed to the right car very quickly. There wasnt a hard sale. He served us by listening first, then acting. We walked out with a car that day and are very happy.

We worked with Barbra Aceto and she was great. We were looking at cars for a new driver so the ability for my daughter to test drive the car on their Test Track was great. That was a lot less stressful for my daughter then going on main roads with a stranger(car dealer) in the car. We found a car we liked, only issue was there was one at another dealer that better fit our needs. In the end we went with the other dealer, but we really did consider going with Naperville just because we like working with them even though other car was better for us. Next time we need a car it’s one of the dealers on the top of our list to checkout.

We came in knowing exactly what we wanted. We made an appointment and drove 30 miles to get here. Originally we dealt with Barbara who told us off the bet that the car they were holding for us had been sold. We didn’t receive a courtesy call so we wouldn’t come all this way for it. She was not friendly, she was in a huge hurry and didn’t try to please us at all. She refused to hear us out and after 20min with her we didn’t even get her name or a card after we left. I had to look her up online. Which is where we also found Jaime. We only went back to this dealership because we wanted to prove to the management that no matter how busy you are, you should hear out your customers and make them feel like they’re worthy of your time, even if you don’t make a sale! Jaime was great to deal with. We are pleased that he earned our business.
My wife and I did a ton of research before walking in the door. We were pleased to have highly helpful people at each visit, and the information they told us aligned well with our research. We looked at several other dealers before purchasing, but our experience at Toyota of Naperville was by far the best one. We purchased our dream car with a ton of peace of mind.
This started back in May 2019. My wife & I stopped in to buy a new Camry XSE. I asked the sales manager Ryan Botica that I'd like to deal with him directly and he agreed & said not a problem. When we arrived at the dealership and walked in some saleswomen rushed up as I asked for the manager and proceeded to walk us to her desk. I repeated that I would like to deal with the manager Ryan directly. After I said this to her she was offended and then started to give us a nasty attitude.We had to wait about 15 minutes and then finally we looked at the vehicle we agreed to purchase. We had to come back later to finalize the deal. As we were leaving the pushy saleswomen got in the vehicle & then proceeded to accelerate very rapidly driving directly over two speed Bumps. She had to be doing about 15-20 MPH at least. The thumps were extremely loud as she slammed this brand new vehicle over the speed bumps. We explained to Ryan what we witnessed how the saleswomen drove the vehicle and that we were no longer going to purchase that vehicle after the way it was driven over the speed bumps. Ryan apologized half halfheartedly and then we decided after some back-n-forth discussions, Ryan placed an order for a brand new vehicle for us. I kept in touch from early June about every 2 weeks on vehicle update & Ryan would respond " the vehicle was due to be built Aug 16th & delivered to dealer about 7or 10 days later ". Two weeks before Aug 16th I texted Ryan for an update on the vehicle build schedule, Ryan responded " vehicle is still on schedule for Aug 16th ". Now on Aug 16th I texted & called Ryan inquiring about the build completion and delivery schedule. After 4 hrs Ryan calls me & tells me the vehicle I ordered was sold 2 weeks ago. Now keep in mind I had been communicating 2 weeks before and Ryan stated the vehicle was still on build schedule for Aug 16th. I was Blatantly lied to & deceived not only with the delivery but also with the payment and price for the whole 4 months from this dealership. I was offered a payment by Pat O'Brien the GM. They offered to bring a car from 70 miles away & I refused because I wanted my new vehicle with less than 5 miles on it. We took the payment they offered us for the frustration & grief we went through and went on our way. After a few days trying to find another vehicle & getting more frustrated my wife contacted Mr. O'Brien and asked to speak with the Owner. This is when Mr O'Brien sent us a vindictive nasty email informing us that we are not welcome at any of the Dan Wolf dealerships, Toyota,Lexus,Chevy. Now keep in mind we were courteous and polite the whole time and this is how Mr O'Brien responds after the lies & deception we went through by telling us were not welcome & threatening us with the Police if we show up at any dealership. Well Mr O'Brien, we will NEVER, EVER !! PATRONIZE any Dan Wolf dealership after your VILE email. We also will be filing a complaint with Toyota corporate about your deceptive, deceitful practices. Apparently Mr.O'Brien was offended because we asked to speak to the Owner. Dan Wolf the owner has not reached out to us at all to discuss this. I have all emails & text message communications with this dealership & I have attached some pics of the text correspondence with Ryan Botica.

All I have to say about this dealership was that it was a great experience very nice people no pressure me and my wife to stop by to browse and ended up going home with a 2021 RAV4 our salesman RICHARD PONULAK made us feel comfortable in helping us pick out our new vehicle and had answered every question that we asked. What can I say? Terry seriously made leasing my new Avalon the easiest process. I consider the car I got Saturday a luxury and thought it was out of reach. Terry assured me he could make it happen all while being super respectful of my husband and I’s budget. I contacted him Wednesday night and was in my new car 4 days later. No matter what time it was or what questions I had, he never made me feel like I was bothering him. He even went all the way to Schaumburg to get the car that fit my exact needs and budget.
