Ultrasonic technology has been used reliably by the military and the medical field for decades. Now Audiovox takes that technology to the family car...helping drivers detect and avoid unseen objects behind them. Sensors are easily but inconspicuously mounted within the rear bumper of the vehicle or hooked into the tail gate of your pick-up or SUV. These sensors transmit ultrasonic waves that bounce back from stationary or moving objects as the vehicle is backing up. Drivers will always know when an object is behind them and can even gauge the distance between it and the car. Additional sensors and optional LED displays are also available from Audiovox.
